Jim Carteris – Founder/CEO
Jim is a Bay Area native with over 20 years experience in the technical staffing industry. At JD Strategies, Jim takes an active hands-on role with his staff and clients, focused on his employees’ personal growth and positive business interactions across the company.
From a young age, Jim built his own success and brings that same determination to his businesses today. Jim maintains a focused eye on marketing and career development, forming valuable relationships and acting as a mentor to others in his industry.
As CEO, Jim initiates and develops top-notch account managers and recruiters to satisfy the demanding technical needs of both large and small development companies in Silicon Valley.
He currently serves as chairman of the National Board of Tech Serve Alliance, the national trade organization for IT/Engineering Staffing Firms.
Before founding JD Strategies in 2003, Jim was a key player at several staffing firms in Silicon Valley. Outside of this industry, from 1983 – 2006 Jim owned and operated retail clothing stores around the U.S.
He has been married to his wife, Lynn, for 30 years and has raised two beautiful daughters.
Doug Wing – Founder/COO
Doug has been a key contributor in the technical staffing industry for 25 years. He has served as a senior technical recruiter and senior account manager, ascending quickly in both title and responsibility at various successful agencies.
Doug’s focus, although always expanding, remains in shaping, mentoring and directing core recruiting and sales teams. Prior to entering the staffing arena, Doug served as one of the key technical staffers at Applied Biosystems, Syntex and Lifescan, where he contributed at various points of an SDLC and a product’s lifecycle.
Doug’s bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and managerial economics from UC Davis bring a unique blend of knowledge from both the biopharmaceutical and technology industry. Throughout his career, Doug has been exceptionally successful in creating long-term relationships with various Silicon Valley companies of all sizes, and developing contacts within emerging markets.
Doug lives in San Jose with his wife and two children.
